Eclipse is a demon of the Third Order and one of the main protagonists of the "Demon Diary" series. His services are very much in demand, but after locating the successor to Demon Lord Raenef IV, Eclipse chooses to remain with him as tutor and protector. It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it!

Although there's more than a hint of an attraction between Eclipse and Raenef, things don't advance very far in the books - some lingering glances, touches and hugs is about as hentai as it gets. Maybe if there'd been more books in the series, Eclipse and Raenef may have dared all, but there weren't, and they didn't *sigh*. However, in fan fic land Eclipse and Raenef definitely get up to more than a shy glance and a comforting hug, so that's the stuff to track down if the books left you wanting more.
