Without doubt the most popular couple in Gundam yaoidom is Heero and Duo (1x2). Obviously there's something about pairing the mission-driven and sombre Heero with the good-humoured Duo that appeals to writers and readers alike. And, given the obvious pairing that non-yaoi authors have to work with (Heero and the walking, stalking headcase), it's little wonder that Heero and Duo are so popular as a couple.
